He is carefully and lovingly showing his daughter the art of angling. We see his hands steadying the reel and pole. Tom’s left arm steadies her arm as she attempts to hold the rod straight. The image conveys the feeling of the serene trust and friendship between a Godly father and a wonderful daughter who are just out enjoying the simplicity of fishing as pals.
