Cynthia was a young girl who lost almost everything. She called it happenstance when her Dad, her hero, fell into a coma after the accident. She thought it unfair that God left her with an unloving mother and no real friends to support her. In time, Cynthia lost her faith as she watched, unable to stop it, her sense of self worth dwindle to near nothingness. One fateful afternoon, on a day already steeped with anguish, God sent her the unlikeliest of heroes in the person of Manny. Cynthia never thought to ask where he came from or where he went – she only knew that it was he, who carefully guided her back to her faith in God and herself.
