Chapter Six
Why would God imprison our spirits in a vessel that cries out for everything that is so self-destructive? Is it possible to overcome the ravages of a desperately wicked human heart to seek the benevolence and peace of Christ the Savior? Can anyone overcome being human?

An old boyfriend returns and Cynthia feels the overwhelming tug of her flesh.  Tempted and discouraged, Cynthia toys with the idea of submitting to the screams of her flesh.  Feeling guilty for even the thought of it, she ask God for the grace to overcome.

The struggle was real and not by any stretch easy.  It was only at the real moment of decision that she understood who she loved more.  Her discovery is a discovery for us all as we learn the true meaning of intimacy within the framework of God’s original design.
