What Readers Are Saying About Cynthia's Dream |

Rose,
a long-time Christian/ Subject:Re: "Wow! knocked me out" |
Cynthia's Dream
caught me off-guard. As a long-time Christian (I'm 40-something)
I thought I was familiar with just about everything. This book
surprised me, both as a mystery and in what I learned about
myself, specifically my relationship with Christ. Any reader
will find himself somewhere in the pages of this book even if he
or she doesn't want to admit it. And when you can admit
it, that's when you'll find the power to enhance your life with
God's word through this author. I gave my copy to my
sister and am going out to buy a new one for me and a spare for
the person whom today I don't know will need it but I want to be
ready when they do. Great book! I am looking forward to
the Mustard Seed. --- Rose |

Joe,
a youth pastor in Maryland/ Subject:Re: "Thank you!" |
It was wonderful for
you to come speak with our youth. Parents, children and young
adults alike, were all moved by the power of your words.
It's through great books like Cynthia's Dream that we youth
pastors can demonstrate the absolute practicality of living for
Christ. I hope you'll come speak again. On behalf of
the staff and those entrusted to me, I thank you. God
bless you. |

Convalescing is
tough enough but your kind words and the power of your book,
Cynthia's Dream is a pleasant diversion from my problems. A
Christian all my life, I am truly surprised by what I'm learning
from reading this book. Kindest regards... C. |

Michelle via Danielle for a troubled mother in Los Angeles / Subject:Re: "I almost lost my daughter." |
Dear Mike, I got this from a friend. I know you'll be touched. Your book is lighting up the world with God's love one reader at a time. I can't wait till the Mustard Seed comes out. "...Hello Danielle. The book you lent me, Cynthia’s Dream has saved my daughter and me from what I see as disaster. As I told you at school, my sixteen year old daughter informed me that she wanted to go on the “pill” because she was considering becoming sexually active. I was devastated and no amount of talk worked because I myself had a past. She told me she had every right to make her own mistakes. The next day, you lent me the book urging me to read it right away. I read it with my heart pounding. I then gave it to my daughter. She resisted but bargained that if she read it, she’d hear no more from me about promiscuity. A few days later she thanked me and said that she no longer wanted to have sex. She never explained but she was holding Way’s book. I rest easy now and wish that every girl her age could read this book. I know you’re in contact with the author; please thank him for me." |

Ken,
a father-to-be with many questions./ Subject:Re: "Wow, a parental report card." |
As an expectant
father, reading portions of Cynthia's Dream made me want to do
it (fatherhood) right the first time. When I read the
final chapter I knew that I was hearing from God on how to raise
Godly children in a Godly home. Amidst all the modern
theories on child rearing, they all seem inadequate when the
plan has already been laid out in the Scriptures and echoed so
demonstrably in your book. My wife and I thank you for the
encouragement we received from Cynthia's Dream. |

John,
an anonymous reader refers from Hunt Valley, Maryland/ Subject:Re: "Unbelievable!" |
I can't explain it
but as I read Cynthia's Dream, I could actually tell when the story
was in
your
voice and when it was in
God's
voice. I discovered things that had never occurred to me about commonly
known facts from the Scriptures. It's not that you're not a great writer but
when God takes over the story; wow! Look out! Never experienced
anything like that before. Amazing! |

| d.callas / Subject: Re: "Mon Dieux" |
Let
me tell you something that truly touched me tonight as my Mom came in
the living room both hands shaking because of her age(86), and she
had tears in her eyes. I didn't know what was wrong I looked at her but
knew I was to say nothing, I suddenly noticed she was holding your
book it was only then that I realized she finally finished reading Cynthia's
Dream. "Mon Dieux" (my God) she said, "if mankind
could've only listened to God the way this book is written. I have read
many books in my lifetime but none like this one." All I could do is
smile and be so proud of knowing how it touched her, and yes, I cried
too. We sat down for a few and talked about your book and how so well
written and heartfelt the book was. Then I laughed when she asked
when your next book is coming out.
For that I thank you as although she is 86 you were still able to touch her heart through your words and God's work, and I know in my heart it will touch many others when they read your book as it is God's work and mission to heal the world's pain and broken hearts no matter what situation they are in or have been in, He will heal though your words in your books. You have truly blessed my life |

before she turned it in. Incredible story with an ending that knocked me
out. Great story telling, Cynthia's Dream is a Biblically faithful and a
moving story for everyone. I learned so much that I cried all the
way through this must-read. Unbelievable!!!

a reader refers Cynthia's Dream / Subject: Re: "awesome story!" |
Hey Mike,
What an awesome story I have
to tell you. One of my fellow Instructors at Brooks College was
having a bad day and I wanted to cheer her up... anyway to make a long story short
I gave her Cynthia's Dream. She came to work this morning
crying; said she could not put the book down that she was so
touched by the story and it spoke to her heart. She said she
wanted to pass it on to her Church Pastor and wife and she will
contact you to add their Church to your website as well as they
want to have it in their Church book store., Isn't that awesome
how God works through us one-person-at-a-time? I was so touched
and she was just crying her eyes out. She is a very sweet
Christian women that has a teenager and she feels that ALL
teenagers should read your book.
God had put
in my heart last week to give her the book and he said "trust
me, and see how it works" but I didn't want to write to you
about it till I heard from her. She said she can't wait to be
off this weekend to re-read your book over again.....

wright / Subject: Re: Haven't finished yet but what a powerful book. |
Mike,
I just started Cynthia's Dream but man-o-man is this book powerful.
Thought it would be a quick read but the concepts are so meaty that I find
myself feasting slowly as I digested the words that God has given you to
share with the world. I'll write again when I'm finished. This book
would be great for study groups. Can't wait to see how the story (parable)
ends.

The
comments below was sent by someone(anonymous) who purchased a copy and gave it to a friend.
Dear Mr. Way, I live in
California. I'm a student and gave Pete, my counselor,
your book as a gift. Now understand, Pete is very much a MANLY man,
strong, and kind and almost looks intimidating if you don't know him.
Anyway let me get to the point... as I handed him the book, he fell
back in his chair and started to weep because he felt so touched by the
book's cover. He loved the quality of the book's layout and thumbed
through the Illustrations and was even more overwhelmed. He loved the one
of Manny at the hospital, and the crazy preacher, the meadow....all of
them but these where his favorites. Now to the kindest thing he said... "I
can't wait to go home tonight and read it to my wife"
Isn't that sweet..... the man reads to his wife every night....... and now
he is reading your book. I just had to share that with you because it was
so touching. |

Read
the excerpts on your website. What a writer. It's about time Christian
fiction measured up. I can't wait to get my advance copy
Follow Up: Okay, I got my advance copy... Wow! I cried, I laughed, I hugged myself and my family. I saw myself in Clareece's character and now the healing begins. Thanks for a great book. You may have just saved my marriage, my life. |

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Wow, this guy is just great. Why haven't I heard of him before.
It looks like the art and the text are complementing each other very well
with your outstanding unique combined talents. I like the page with your
art - don't see many novels with color illustrations. Nice work! I like Mr. Way's expressive words.

Congrats!!!!!!
I saw some of the illustrations and WOW, but the ones that I didn't see I
enjoyed just as much as the others. . Are you working on the 2nd book? I
know you said that there might be a second one. Is the only place you can
buy the book is on the internet?? I never buy off the net. This seems like
you are working for a wonderful mission and Mike's writing really looks
interesting enough that I want to buy his books.

I
really would like to share my comments about this book. Although I am the
Illustrator for Mike Way I really wanted to express how this book
"Cynthia's Dream" has touched my life. Not just in the artistic
point of view but how God really blessed this man with the gift of
writing. Yes, the true believer always work through God and we allow God
to use us for His good but Mike Way is a clear example of living his life
God's way. As you read "Cynthia's Dream" you will feel as
touched as I was and will read it over and over just as I have. Not only
it is a novel but there is a personal life lesson to be learned in this
book as well. Clearly, all who read this book will benefit from the word
in some way!
