Future Plans

Morning Prayer Publishing and its sister company, Morning Prayer Film, plans an innovative schedule of novels, non-fiction, and films that tell wonderful stories filled with drama, wit, tension but more that anything, the resolution of the latter by simple moral principals.  Morning Prayer Film intends to use as it’s marketing model, the direct-to-video distribution method. Other than production, our film budget enters our high-quality films in unique film festivals around the world. We’re confident that the ‘buzz’ created by our stories will attract viewers who are tired of the standard faire of action driven movies. Our movies, while action packed, depend on good solid story telling to convey unique message for our time. Our films never push religiosity, churchiosity or come off preachy. Instead, we stress the tenets of God-centered morality.  Our films are centered in the unspoken. Each viewer takes away from our movies more than he or she brings to it because our stories make the viewer a part of the film.

Our books follow the same model. It is our hope to reverse a trend we’ve witnessed for some years now. What trend? The blatant disregard for the fragile differences between right, wrong, legal, and moral. We believe that if we present a truth, a principal, the willing reader will see his reflection and decide for himself which end of the rainbow he’s at.

Our largest concern will be to remain independently owned. We believe that ‘suits’ can change a business in deference to profit versus the mission.  Yes, profit too, is our goal, but not profit for stockholders, but for the continued resources to do what’s right in a wicked world. We believe Morning Prayer Publishing can be part of the salt-of-the-earth and invite you to join our mission is so moved by God in your life. “... Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13
