MORNING PRAYER FILMS

Shady Side, Maryland: April 7, 2007: Morning Prayer Films, announces after losing it's two principal stars, that filming will resume and much will be re-shot in Spring 2008.  "This film is about Spring love. It is important to capture the beauty of post winter when Maryland is blooming with radiant and spectacular beauty..." says director, Mike Way.  Our male lead, Jason Brown, was forced to resign our film when an a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform one of his plays in Edinburgh was presented to him.  Melissa Powell, our female lead had already planned to join a cast in Los Angeles in August.  Since there was not enough time to replace Jason before your departure, we released Melissa wishing her the best on a future brilliant career.  Kristine Kelly, our third star and associate producer has relocated to Los Angeles for the balance of the year.  As such,  principal photography for Morning Prayer Over Chesapeake - A Love Story -, will resume/begin filming in Spring 2008 with a few scenes shot during Thanksgiving and Christmas 2007.  We are also seeking corporate funding sources interested in the subject of our film.

Written, produced and directed by Mike Way, Morning Prayer Over Chesapeake has been quoted by Hollywood insiders as the best love story since Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal starred in Love Story in 1970. Below are comments from the studio that considered producing but passed on the script:

"Morning Prayer Over Chesapeake" is a complex and spirited romantic drama in the same vein of Love Story. It's been a while since we've seen a solid, moving drama that features a love plot at the center and not the periphery of the story. There aren't too many straightforward love stories being made today and "Morning" fills the long missing gap.

“Morning Prayer Over Chesapeake - A Love Story -” basically examines the premise of love-at-first-sight and positions the emotion directly next to lust-at-first-sight and the so-called mechanically perfect marriage.  Author/Director Mike Way calls Morning the one chick flick that even guys will want to see.   The poster below says it all. Mike Way is the principal owner of Morning Prayer Publishing. He is planning his second and third film now, Sentient and The Hunter As the Hunted.

Other notes: MPP is a wholly owned subsidiary of CCS which began operations in 1984. Recasting  for new leads is in processing now.  Any appropriate releases will be submitted to your office.
